Ming-Bear

This is how it all started

Zorro on vacation in dark Småland

In 1978 my oldest daughter bought a black male Chow Chow male. As my
daughter was working I began walking
Zorro at lunchtime. Which ended with
me taking over Zorro, and he became
Nordic and International Champion,
and  a sire of 9 Champions in Sweden, Finland and Norway.

Then I was  caught. Zorro was black, and that's still my favourite colour. There are
two kinds of coats, rough coats and smooth coats. Smooth coats has been my big
interest. In
1989 I bought my first smooth coat, a black bitch Ciang-Tai’s Olinia,
granddaughter of  Zorro. Today I breed both smooth and rough coated Chow Chow.

I have imported 1 male and 7 bitches  from Norway.

Unas Foxtrot Star, "Dundee" black rough dog, Int & Nord CH Manor Hill's Sweet Jessica,
"Jessie",  black rough bitch, Lohov's Tamara, "Tara", red smooth bitch, Lohov's Gipsy Woman,
"Sabrina", black rough bitch, Pei Fang Angelface, "Gemma", red rough bitch, Pei Fang Fireball,
"Livia", red rough bitch, Pei Fang Midnight Temptation, "Ophelia", black rough bitch,
Lohov's Princess Smooth Samantha, "Samantha" black smooth bitch.

More info about Jessie and  Tara at  Old Chow Chow.

I have imported 3 bitches from England.

Lechan Lady Sara, Jowtrix Carina and Towmena The Slick Chick (smooth).

Lechan  Lady Sara, “Sussi”

Towmena The Slick Chick, “Silk” 3 ½ month

I have imported 1 male, red smooth, from Holland,
Groninger Gosse van het Bossche Front, "Bolero".

Ming-Bear Velvet Trigger is grandfather to Bolero.

(More pictures in Photo I).

I have exported 2 males to Finland
FIN CH Ming-Bear Velvet Trigger, red smooth and
FIN CH Ming-Bear Tai Pan, black rough. Trigger was sire to Finlands first
born creme chows). Both males have given many healthy offspring.

Export to Norway  Ming-Bear Good Luck Charm,
"Leo", red rough.
 (Pictures on Photos II)

In 1990 I had my first litter, in 2006 I had my 13th litter.

Today I have genes on some of my chows for all colours
red, fawn, creme, blackt and blue.

And this is how it continues.........
